This is a surprisingly delicate and fine Chianti, all nicely compacted and refined, and reserved at the moment. The nose shows perfectly ripened currant/raspberry, rose and fine spice. It is medium bodied, well balanced - in fact nicely poised - with firm acidity and fine tannin. A touch of minerality joins the parade of flavours on the finish. The length is excellent. Best 2025 to 2030
