Leaning Post Sauvignon Blanc VQA Niagara Lakeshore 2024

Husband and wife duo Ilya and Nadia started Leaning Post winery in Niagara over 10 years ago. Initially a virtual set up, the winery now located on Highway 8, has become a reference producer in Niagara.

Leaning Post's goal for their Sauvignon Blanc is to reflect the unique Niagara terroir and this wine always delivers. Very intense tropical aromas of pineapple, passionfruit and mango lead to kiwi, lemongrass and lime-leaf on the nose. The palate has bright acidity matched by a creamy texture, with key-lime and starfruit battling with passionfruit for supremacy, while lemongrass and honeysuckle stand back and watch. The finish is the most surprising, with the flintiest, most “wet stones in a mountain stream” minerality we have ever seen on our Sauvignon Blanc!
