Laroche Chablis Chanoines 2024

Bright notes of fresh citrus, white flowers and mineral nuances mingle on the nose. The elegant palate is driven by vibrant acidity and expressive flavours of citrus and stone fruit.Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Aromas of lime and pear infused with a mix of oyster shell and wet slate like notes emanate from the glass followed by some delicate fresh herb and mineral notes. Zippy lime and green apple fruits are underscored by flinty acidity with some oyster shell and slatey mineral characters lingering through the back half. Finishes dry with a river stone like mouth feel and a refreshingly long mineral laced aftertaste. Drink over the next 3-4 years.

The vines are located on the clay-limestone 'Kimmeridgian' soil, which has both excellent acidity and remarkable finesse. Thanks to long ageing on fine lees, the Chanoines offers the typical minerality.
