This orange Cataratto came from a 30 year old organically farmed vineyard at 600m, on the northern face of Monte Bonifato. It spends 15 days on the skins before 6 months’ rest in stainless. Pouring a hazy orange hue, this textural wine streams apricot fuzz, peach pit, açacia blossoms along a grippy, tight palate with ample saline energy from the sight. Detailed, interesting and drinking well now.
