Saint Jacques Ultreia 2020

Ultreia Saint Jacques is the introduction wine to Raul Perez’s range of Ultreia wines. It is a Mencia based wine, a cuvee from old vines sourced from different plots in Valtuille and Villadecanes within the DO Bierzo. Fermented with partly whole cluster in stainless steel and oak and matured for 12 months in used barriques.

Tasting notes: A serious yet a juicy fresh wine, clean, lovely and rounded. Scents of juicy red fruit, subtly spicy with hints of violets, strawberry and red currants. Finishing fresh and vibrant.
