Here's a very interesting barrel aged blend that is dominated by Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc - the white staples in the Bordeaux region and environs. But the clever twist is adding 10% Chenin Blanc which is a good fit with its firm acidity. Expect white flowers, nectarine, pineapple, fresh fig and subtle wood spice on the nose. It is medium bodied, a touch sweet but braced by good acidity and a touch of sourness. The length is excellent.
