Domaine Duseigneur La Goutte du Seigneur Côtes du Rhône 2022

The name of organic and biodynamically farmed cuvèe refers to their family name, translating as “Drop of the Lord”. La Goutte du Seigneur is an easy drinking blend of Grenache and Syrah from 30 year old vines rooted in the estates clay limestone soils. This underwent 2 weeks maceration in concrete tanks before a native ferment, and saw no time in oak. Tight black current, red current, red cherry is gripped with a graphite minerality and fine, lightly sticky tannins. Acidity is bright and easily refreshing at 14%.
